Haris Christys is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2004. He obtained his LLB and was awarded an LLM in International Economic Law, from the University of Warwick. He is primarily engaged in corporate advice, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity investments on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. He also advises private and public companies and groups of companies including advice on all aspects of corporate governance and CySec authorisations and is involved in commercial litigation and arbitration. Haris is a member of the Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a licensed Nominated Advisor with the Cyprus Stock Exchange and an authorised Insolvency Practitioner.
Chloe Tofarides is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2005. She obtained her LLB from the University of Sheffield and was awarded an LLM in Shipping from UCL in London. She subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. Her main areas of practice are litigation, employment, corporate, contract, project finance, property, competition, insurance and shipping law.
Rita Christys is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 1996. She obtained her LLB from the University of Sheffield. Rita’s main areas of practice include contract, commercial, property, probate, employment and corporate law.
Soteris Photiou is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2013. He obtained his LLB from Surrey University and was awarded an LLM in Commercial Law from Bristol University. Soteris is engaged in commercial, private criminal, administrative, tort law and labor law litigation in relation to a variety of cases including civil actions, petitions, injunctions, tax cases, probate actions and wills. Soteris’ areas of expertise also include corporate law, focusing on company incorporation, mergers and acquisitions, company liquidations and corporate litigation, as well as banking, immigration and Intellectual Property Law. He is also an experienced Mediator registered in both commercial and civil registries of the Ministry of Justice.
Christos Topouzis is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2016. He obtained his LLB from University of Nicosia while he is also an alumnus of University of Cyprus, holding a B.Ed. His main areas of practice include administrative and constitutional law, public procurement law, civil litigation and injunctions. He is also engaged in Alternative Dispute Resolution, being a registered Mediator for business, commercial and civil disputes.
Andreas Pantelides is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2016. He obtained his LLB from Queen Mary University of London and was awarded an LLM in Public International Law from UCL. His main areas of practice are corporate, contract, commercial, employment and intellectual property law. He has also extensive experience in matters relating to automatic exchange of information (FATCA & CRS) and as an advisor for applications in the context of the Cypriot government’s Scheme for Naturalization of Investors by exception.
Andriana Charalambous is currently undertaking her legal practice as a trainee advocate at Christys & Co LLC. She obtained her GE LLB Law degree from City, University of London and also has a degree in Business Management (BSc Hons) from Queen Mary, University of London.
Panayiotis Koullouros is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales and is currently undertaking his legal practice as a trainee advocate at Christys & Co LLC to complete a dual qualification as a Cypriot lawyer. Pan is a graduate of Christ’s College of the University of Cambridge with a degree in law (MA (Cantab), LLB). Prior to moving to Cyprus, Pan worked in London as a managing associate in the corporate team of global Magic Circle law firm Linklaters LLP. Pan also completed a secondment in the corporate team of Linklaters Hong Kong. Pan’s practice focuses on private equity houses and other financial sponsor clients across a variety of business sectors, advising on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, consortiums, restructurings and ongoing corporate and portfolio company advice.
Stelios is a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales and is currently undertaking his legal practice as a trainee advocate at Christys & Co LLC to complete a dual qualification as a Cypriot lawyer. Stelios holds an LLB from the University College London. Prior to moving to Cyprus, Stelios worked in London as a managing associate in the banking team of global Magic Circle law firm Linklaters LLP. Stelios also completed a secondment in Linklaters Moscow and the workout unit of Lloyds Bank plc in London. Stelios’ practice focuses on restructuring, insolvency and financing matters, acting for a range of stakeholders including banks, funds, corporates and insolvency practitioners.
